Neymar claims that he is extremely surprised that the national team has never won the Olympic tournament

Brazil’s Olympic captain Neymar claims that he is extremely surprised that the national team has never won the Olympic tournament despite having been hugely successful in almost every regard.

The gold medal at an Olympic tournament remains the only elusive aspect for the national team. As the captain of Brazil and one of the important players at the tournament, Neymar will be hoping to inspire the team to a success at this 2016 edition. Brazil will have a small boost since the tournament is being held at home just like the FIFA World Cup 2014, but the nation would be hoping for a much better final outcome.

At the World Cup 2014, Brazil were of the favourites to win the title but capitulated towards the end once they had lost Neymar through injury. Neymar claims that he will not want to pass up on this unique opportunity to get the national team successful once again. Following a disastrous Copa America 2016, Brazil are under serious pressure to deliver a major honour since it has been quite a while since they won something. One has to go back to the 2007 Copa America to witness Brazil lifting a real major one. Neymar has already attempted to help Brazil win the gold title, but was unsuccessful in the 2012 edition. Jose Mourinho wants Neymar at Manchester United

Incoming Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has instructed his new team to get Neymar at all cost. It is believed that the Portuguese manager wants to see an attacking pair of Ibrahimovic and Neymar at Old Trafford, and he wants to make everything he can in order to sign the Brazilian forward.

It was believed that the number one target for Jose Mourinho was Paul Pogba but is appearing unlikely that the French midfielder will make his return to Old Trafford this season. The player will apparently stay in Italy for at least another season before deciding on his future.

Jose Mourinho has therefore instructed Manchester United to secure the signing of Neymar as an alternative. However, things will not be easy as Barcelona do not want to lose their player. It is reported that they are preparing a new improved contract for the Brazilian player so as to discourage any other clubs from signing their player.

This is not the first time that Manchester United have attempted to sign Neymar. Back in 2015, there were reports that the Red Devils made a £145 million bid to sign the Brazil international. Barcelona did not agree at that time, and it is almost certain that they will not be accepting again this time. They would want to keep their attacking trio of Messi, Neymar, and Suarez at all costs and they will be putting a hefty price tag on their player to discourage any potential bidders. Read more »

Neymar might be moving to Paris Saint-Germain over the summer

There is news that Brazil and Barcelona forward Neymar might be moving to Paris Saint-Germain over the summer.

Indeed, the French club is lining up a €190 million offer to bring the Brazilian player to Ligue 1.

With Ibrahimovic due to leave the club in the summer, Paris Saint-Germain is currently looking for a world-class striker to help boost their attack and might consider Neymar as the best possible replacement.

There are reports that there are talks being held between the French club representative as well as Neymar’s agent but nothing has been finalized yet. Talks have been going on for more than a month now, and we will have to wait for the end of the season to find out what development will take place.

Neymar is also discussing with Barcelona about a possible contract extension, but it is reported that the Paris Saint-Germain contract offer is far above what the Spanish team can offer, and this might be the factor that swings the balance in favor of the French club. Read more »

People questioning Neymar’s Maturity

Neymar apparently isn’t making friends or positive influences recently with his team or his coaches. After he spent a night partying, people are now questioning his maturity and he’s a good fit for the team. The Barcelona forward is in good form where he’s currently at but some of the decisions he’s made as of late have a lot of people shaking their heads.

Neymar is going to be serving a suspension against Paraguay. He went partying after to show how serious he was taking the situation and apparently the press was not amused. When we talk about Neymar’s form though, he has a rather explosive form and he’s a very well adjusted player on the field. However, he’s got a bit of growing up to do.

Barcelona and Camp Nou are both hoping that they can snatch him up for another season at the end of this current season because he’s a really good forward. However, in Brazil, some of his behavior as of late isn’t really sticking with the higher ups and he’s skating on thin ice as of lately. He got into a bit of a spat as of recent when on of his teammates named Luis Suarez had to actually intervene to prevent him from getting into a fist fight. Read more »

Roberto Carlos has backed himself to persuade Neymar

Roberto Carlos has backed himself to persuade Neymar to make a switch from Camp Nou to Santiago Benabeu in future.

Carlos is likely to get into Madrid’s support staff under the new boss Zidane.

A season later, Carlos left Madrid as well and moved to the smaller leagues.

Confirming that he’s been in touch with Madrid for the coaching job, Carlos said, “The club has talked to me. Right now I don’t know which role they want me to have in, but, hopefully, everything would be clear soon.”

When asked about his compatriot Neymar, the former left-back said, “If I join Madrid, I could get Neymar over there as well. He is an outrageously talented youngster and with experience, he will get even more potent.”

Neymar, since he has signed for Barcelona, has always said that he is very happy and satisfied playing for the Catalan giants, but, there have been a few contract issues between him and the club of late.

As per the reports, the player’s father is keen for his son to be rewarded with contract extension before the 2015-16 Season is over and the talks regarding that are being held. Read more »
